What is our Seekers Ministry?

Seekers is the name given to our ECB church ministry to children, with various groups who look after the up to 10 years old. We have a team of experienced volunteers who are DBS checked, or under the supervision of someone who is.

When do they meet?

ECB Seekers Ministry happens every Sunday at 11:00am, which is usually a half hour into the morning service.

Our vision for Seekers is based on Luke 2:52 “And Jesus grew in wisdom, stature, favour with God and favour with man.”

Through age-appropriate teaching, encounters with God, reflections, challenges and lots of fun, we hope to help every child on their journey of faith. Our aim is that all children, through their childhood, will learn to love God, love others, love life and to go, grow and glorify God; fulfilling the purposes He has for their lives. Lovingly discipling them in God's word so that they may daily walk in faith with God knowing they are a child of God.

We want to strengthen, nurture and protect each individual child’s personal relationship with God through consistent biblical teaching. Championing and supporting each child's God given future so their hearts and spirits are so full of God that it overflows to everyone and everything they do. Children are the Church of today. ECB believe that the Children’s ministry is integral to the church as a whole family. We desire to see children involved in the life of the fellowship and being mentored and encouraged and have the opportunity to use their gifts to bless the wider Church family.
